I’m going to be honest and admit that for the last 5 years, I had absolutely no idea that we had more than 13 different parking companies offering affordable parking rates at/around the Düsseldorf Airport. I’ve been simply following the signs into the airport that read “Long-term Parking” and then heading on my way. Little did I know that there are tons of other options that could have saved me a lot more money.

So, to avoid you making the same mistake that I did, here’s a list of the cheapest options for parking at the Düsseldorf Airport.

Before we dive in and mention all of our options, it might be helpful knowing that like many other products and services in Germany, there’s a comparison portal for airport parking (not just for Düsseldorf, but all over the world). Looking4Parking will compare all the below-mentioned parking providers based on the dates you intend on flying out so that instead of clicking-through each and every website below, you can quickly find your cheapest option. They also offer free cancellation up until 48 hours before your drop-off time.

However, what might come in handy is knowing how long it will take to get from each parking lot to the airport. Transfer times are different and many parking facilities offer various different packages which may be one of the reasons you end up paying more than you intend.

👋 Hey, I’m Jenna!

The voice behind Life in Düsseldorf

I’m a German Canadian who moved to Düsseldorf over a decade ago, and like many of you, I had a million questions when I arrived. From trying to figure out how health insurance works in Germany to wondering where the best bakery is (spoiler: it’s Bülle 🍞), I’ve been through it all.

So I created Life in Düsseldorf to help make your transition smoother — whether you’re moving to Germany, already living here, or just curious about life abroad. My mission? To make you feel a little less overwhelmed and a lot more at home.
